Fond du Lac police are investigating a vandalism incident at the Fondy Jr. Football League building. The facility is located on Morris Street, just off 9th Street. Police say vandals tipped over a couple of the metal picnic tables under the awning next to the building. A still picture of one of the alleged perpetrators making an obscene gesture at a security camera was posted on the League’s Facebook page. Police are looking for three juveniles males between the ages of 13 and 17. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
