Fond du Lac School District administrators recently received a one percent salary increase. The increase for the 27 administrators totals a little more than $25,000. Their combined salaries total more than $2.5 million. The highest paid administrators in the district include curriculum director Danica Lewis at more than $120,000, human resources director Sharon Simon receives $109,000, business manager, Wendy Brockert at $117,300, and Fond du Lac High School principal, Michelle Hagen at $107,000. Twelve administrators make more than $90,000. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert’s salary is more than $150,000.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
