OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Oshkosh police have arrested a man who they say contacted more than 60 women and girls through a fake Facebook account and sent nude photos of himself. The 21-year-old Oshkosh man was arrested at his home Sept. 9. Charges against him requested by police include child enticement and three counts of exposing genitals to minors. According to police, the suspect began contacting girls and women in June from an account with the fake name “David James.” Oshkosh police spokesman Officer Joe Nichols says the suspect sent nude photos of himself and asked those he contacted to do the same. Police say some followed suit. In a news release, police say the suspect sent photos to at least three underage girls. Nichols says parents should check their children’s Facebook accounts to see if the suspect contacted them.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
