MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin’s Government Accountability Board says Gov. Scott Walker’s campaign has failed to provide employer information for nearly 6,000 contributors last year, the most of any campaign committee. The law directs campaigns to report the employer of donors who give more than $100 to a campaign committee during a calendar year. The Walker campaign was one of 29 committees that got a warning notice about the missing information.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
