WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is turning up again at presidential campaign events, seven weeks after ending his own candidacy. Walker, who hasn’t endorsed a candidate, is attending an event Monday with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. Separately, Walker will go to a fundraiser for Wisconsin Republicans. Bush rival Marco Rubio is expected at that event. Walker is also set to speak at a breakfast Tuesday before the fourth Republican presidential debate. The debate in Milwaukee gives Walker a setting to help rebuild his image after his candidacy failed — and perhaps to begin maneuvering for a chance at the vice presidency. Walker has ruled out taking a Cabinet job, but he’s been more circumspect about whether he’s open to the No. 2 spot on the eventual Republican ticket.
