TOWN OF WINNECONNE, Wis. (AP) — The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office has released the names of a couple killed in a fire last week. Deputy Coroner Kim Maki identified them Monday as 68-year-old Albert Klemp, and his 66-year-old wife, Colleen Klemp. Sheriff’s officials say they were found dead after firefighters extinguished a residential fire Wednesday in the Town of Winneconne.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
