Dodge County District Attorney Kurt Klomberg has announced he will seek a third term as District Attorney. Klomberg has served the State of Wisconsin as a criminal prosecutor for 14 years, the past six of which have been as Dodge County’s D.A. “Dodge County is a safe place to live and I’m very happy to say that I’m raising my family here,” Klomberg told WFDL news. Voters will elect the district attorney position in the November 8th general election.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
