GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Faculty Senate has passed a resolution expressing no confidence in UW system leaders.  The vote Wednesday afternoon was 24-1.   After the vote, UW-Green Bay Chancellor Gary Miller said he respects the faculty senate’s right to express its concerns, but that he “cannot support this action.”  Similar votes have been held recently on other campuses, including UW-Madison and UW-Milwaukee.  UW faculty members contend that UW System President Ray Cross should have fought harder against the $250 million cut in the latest two-year state budget. Faculty members also are upset that some job protections were weakened.
