todayMay 13, 2016

A Fond du Lac man who caused a lockdown at Fond du lac High School and an elementary school last month has been bound over for trial.  Probable cause was found at a preliminary hearing Thursday for William Kotlowski on charges of  domestic abuse related threats to injure and terrorist threats, and disorderly conduct.  Assistant police chief Steve Thiry says on April 29th  the high school and Rosenow Elementary were placed on lockdown after Kotlowski allegedly threatened his ex-wife and her kids. Both schools were placed on what’s called a “Yellow Alert” until police resolved the situation.  Kotlowski was arrested at his place of work in Green Lake County about an hour later and the alert was lifted.
