The Fond du Lac Police Department has been notified of a change of address for a convicted child sex offender. John Nummerdor was released from prison in December 2016 after serving time for First-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. Nummerdor was convicted of sexually assaulting a 2-year-old female relative acquaintance. Nummerdor is on extended supervision until March 2020. Special conditions of his supervised release include:
1) No contact with victim, no unsupervised contact with minors, no presence in taverns, bars, or liquor stores, and no use of alcohol or illegal drugs.
2) Comply with all rules of high risk sex offender supervision and cooperate with lifetime GPS monitoring.
3) Face-to-face contact with law enforcement as required, lifetime registration with Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program.
Nummerdor is living at 231 W Follett Street in the City of Fond du Lac.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
