Information regarding the 2017 Fond du Lac School District’s Summer School program offerings will be available April 3 on the District website (fonddulac.k12.wi.us) under “Programs>Summer School.” The link on the website will take you to the brochure and online registration form. If you are unable to sign up online, brochures and registration forms will also be available at any school building or at the Administration Center, 72 W. 9th Street. The registration deadline is Friday, April 28. The Summer School program runs Monday, June 12 through Friday, June 30 with enrichment classes being held Monday through Friday mornings at various schools. Elementary times are 8:00-11:30 a.m. with many classes offered twice during that time frame to enable students to take two different classes. Math and Reading remedial classes (by teacher recommendation) are offered at Chegwin, Evans and Riverside at the same times. Forms for the remedial classes have already been sent home with students. There will be a shuttle bus available from Parkside to Evans with the pickup time at 7:25 a.m. and return time after lunch at 12:00 p.m. Free breakfast and lunch are offered to anyone under age 18 at all the participating elementary schools. A free breakfast snack is offered at the high school. Most middle and high school enrichment classes are held at Fond du Lac High School from 8:00-11:40 a.m. See the brochure for the various offerings at these grade levels. A shuttle bus is available to pick up and drop off at these locations: Sabish, pick up 7:10 a.m./drop off 12:20 p.m.; Theisen, pick up at 7:20 a.m./drop off at 12:10 p.m.; Woodworth, pick up at 7:30 a.m/.drop off at 12:00 p.m. Please contact your child’s teacher for information regarding signing up for remedial or make-up classes at the high school. Some school libraries will offer open hours and activities during the summer. More information will be sent home with students in the near future.
