todayJune 14, 2017

A Fond du lac man accused of trying to frame a co-worker by sending a threatening letter to the company’s corporate headquarters has been charged.   Thirty two year old Anthony Guerrero made his initial Fond du Lac court appearance on a charge of making terrorist threats and defamation.   Bail was set at $1000 cash.  Assistant police chief Steve Klein says Applebee’s restaurant closed down last Thursday afternoon after Applebee’s Human Resources office received a threatening letter stating an employee was going to shoot up the place.  Klein says investigators learned Guerrero actually sent the letter to try to get a co-worker in trouble.
