Seventh Street from South Main Street to South Park Avenue
Schedule:  May 2017 to September 2017
Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
July 17th to July 21th: The utility contractor has completed the utilities on 7th Street.  The grading contractor will start excavation and grading the roadway and placing aggregate base this week.  They will work from Park Avenue toward Main Street.  Before the end of the week the electrical contractor will follow behind the grading contractor to install electrical conduit for street lighting.
Traffic Impacts:  Seventh Street is closed to through traffic.  It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.
North Military Road from West Follett Street to West Scott Street
Schedule:  May 2017 to September 2017
Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
July 17th to July 21th: No work this week.
Traffic Impacts: Military Road remains open to traffic.
Fifth Street from South Marr Street to South Park Avenue
Schedule:  May 2017 to September 2017
Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
July 17th to July 21th:  Two utility crews will continue to work on 5th Street.  One crew is working on sanitary sewer main from Marr Street toward Ellis Street.  The second crew will continue installing water main from S. Park Street to the west on 5th Street.  The crew for AT&T has completed moving the underground telephone between Ellis Street and S. Park Avenue, north side.
Traffic Impacts:  The intersection of Fifth and Marr will remain partially closed until the utility work is completed.  Fifth Street is closed to through traffic.  It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.
Ellis Street from Fourth Street to Eight Street (North Leg)
Schedule:  May 2017 to September 2017
Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
July 17th to July 21th:  The utility work on Ellis Street between 8th and 6th Streets is completed.  Crews will begin grading the roadway on Ellis Street between 8th and 6th Streets following the grading work on 7th Street.  As crews work from Park Avenue to Ellis Street they will grade Ellis Street before continuing down 7th Street.  Crews will also start the utility work on Ellis from Fourth Street to Sixth Street as work progresses on 5th Street.

West Second Street Bridge
Description: The bridge deck will be milled and overlaid which requires the closure of the bridge to vehicle and pedestrian travel.
July 17th to July 21th:  The West Second Street Bridge railings have been refurbished, painted and installed on the deck.   Since the railing is installed the sidewalk is now opened to pedestrian traffic for a few weeks until the epoxy overlay work will begin.  The bridge deck repairs need a minimum of 14 days before the epoxy work can begin.  Until the epoxy work is completed and the bridge approaches are paved the bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic.
Traffic Impacts: The West Second Street Bridge remains closed to traffic but pedestrians are allowed to cross the bridge on the sidewalks until the epoxy work begins.
CTH VV (PIONEER RD) from Hickory Street to Rogersville Road
Schedule: April 2017 thru November 2017
Description: This project will include the reconstruction of CTH VV (Pioneer Road) from Hickory Street to Rogersville Road.  The signalized intersection at Pioneer Road and Military Road will be converted to a roundabout.  Work will include grading, water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, base aggregate, concrete pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalk, traffic signals, signing, pavement marking, lighting and landscaping.
July 17th to July 21st: The contractor will continue placing storm sewer along CTH VV (Pioneer Road) between Military Road and Hickory Street. The contractor also will be stripping topsoil on Military Road north of CTH VV (Pioneer Road).  Crews will be placing topsoil on CTH VV (Pioneer Road) west of Military Road as well.  Concrete bases for light poles may also be placed near the roundabout.  Sanitary sewer work is scheduled to be done at the intersection of CTH VV (Pioneer Road) and Military Road.
Traffic impacts: CTH VV (Pioneer Road from Hickory Street to Triangle Road and Military Road from the IH 41 off ramps to CTH VV (Pioneer Road) will be closed to thru traffic.
