Orders are due Monday for historic 1887 Dodge County Fair promotional t-shirts. Earl;ier this year a poster was painted on the Center-Street side of Ming’s Garden Restaurant in, Beaver Dam during the Walldog Mural Festival. The Dodge County Fair is creating t-shirts featuring the fair mural and needs t-shirt orders by Monday July 31. To place your order att pre-fair prices, send the order form and a check payable to the Dodge County Fairgrounds. Payments can be dropped off at the fair office, as well. You can find the order form Online at www.dodgecountyfairgrounds.com or the fair Facebook page. All orders must be received by July 31. The Dodge County Fair is scheduled for Aug. 16-20, 2017.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
