JEFFERSON, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say an ultralight plane with two people on board crashed into a river in Jefferson County.
First responders used boats to reach the victims.
There’s no immediate word on their conditions.
WTMJ-TV reports the plane went down in the Rock River near the Fort Atkinson Municipal Airport about 8 p.m.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
