The Waupun police chief says he is very thankful for a donation from a Madison couple that will help provide the department’s K9 with a new bulletproof vest. Police chief Scott Louden says Joel and Kathy Shittone donated $700 to the Vest a Dog program which helps fund bullet proof vests for police dogs.
