10-6-17 watertown man convicted in heroin overdose death of dodge county woman

A Watertown man has been convicted in the heroin overdose death of a Dodge County woman.  Fifty year old Terance Jannke, was convicted of reckless homicide in the overdose death of Holly Nehls.  He was accused of giving the heroin to Nehl’s boyfriend, Gabriel Brandl, who injected Nehls with the drug causing her death.  Police say Brandl drove his car with Nehls in the front seat for several hours before finally taking  her to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.  Brandl was convicted last year of reckless homicide.  Jannke was also convicted of Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place and Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin following a four day trial. Sentencing is scheduled  for January 8 .
