12-13-17 fdl salvation army plea

todayDecember 13, 2017

The Fond du Lac Salvation Army says additional volunteers could make a difference in meeting the Red Kettle campaign goal.  Salvation Army captain Telinda Wilson says eight of the 17 Red Kettles have been unmanned for several  weeks.   Wilson says the Red Kettle campaign is  at less than 50 percent 41%  of the  $160,000 goal  with only two weeks left in the campaign.  Wilson says this Friday MidStates Aluminum is challenging the community to match their  $2500 donation.  Captain Wilson says the Red Kettle campaign is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Salvation Army.
