Two Fond du lac men are accused of selling crack cocaine. Isaiah and Xaver Potts, both 28 years old, made their initial court appearances this week on multiple counts of delivery of cocaine. The brothers are accused of selling cocaine to undercover officers with the Lake Winnebago Metropolitan Enforcement Group drug unit. A $50,000 cash bond was ordered for Xaver Potts and $10,000 cash for Isaiah Potts. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 22.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
