Funeral services were held Thursday in Madison for a Beaver Dam man killed in an apartment explosion. Reverand Jerry Marsden conducted the funeral services for Benjamin Morrow. In an exclusive interview on AM 1170s Between the Lines program, Marsden says he doesn’t believe Morrow was making bombs. “Impossible. Its just impossible that he was involved in that,” Marsden told AM 1170s Between the Lines program. “He’s not involved in extremist movements. To tell you the honest truth he was too busy to get involved in all that stuff.” Marsden says Morrow was not a recluse and was not a loner. He says Marsden had friends and family and was “a good young man.”

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
