A man wanted for a stabbing in Madison has been arrested in Fond du Lac County. Sheriff’s deputies responded Thursday to the area of Mulletview Rd. and Mushroom Rd. for a report of a suspicious man running through a field on private property. A little less than an hour later deputies made contact with a subject matching the description near the intersection of Highway B and Mushroom Rd. Thirty seven year old Michael Wagner was arrested as a suspect in a domestic-related attempted homicide stabbing in Madison. Wagner was transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail and later released to Madison police. Investigators believe he was traveling alone through Fond du Lac County in a stolen vehicle when it ran out of gas.3-28-25 waupun common council postpones action on pay raises
