The latest figures show reports of bullying in the Ripon Area School District are down. According to the report there were 62 incidents reported this year, down slightly from 65 reported incidents last year. Of the 62 reports, 40 were confirmed cases of bullying. Last year only 30 of the 65 cases were confirmed as bullying incidents. According to the report, the most reported incidents occurred at the higher grade levels during the 2018-19 school year.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
