todayAugust 6, 2019

A Lowell man accused of setting fire to the basement of his former home has been released on a $5,000 signature bond. 41-year-old Benjamin Mueller is facing one felony count of Arson of a Building in Dodge County Court. The incident happened in 2017 when first responders were called to a building in the Town of Herman after a fire broke out in the basement. The flames were contained but the rest of the building suffered smoke damage. If convicted, Mueller is facing up to 40 years in prison. A preliminary hearing has been set for mid-September.
