A Silver Alert issued for a missing Waukesha County man has been expanded statewide due to the news that he may be hitchhiking.
72-year-old David Stenzel of Lisbon was last seen at his residence around 11:00 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019.
He is believed to be on foot wearing a black t-shirt and black jogging pants.
Stenzel has ties to the Wisconsin Rapids area in Wood County and may be attempting to go there.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
