Dodge and Fond du lac County officials are assessing damage to roads and other infrastructure following this week’s flooding. Dodge County Emergency Management director Amy Nehls says flooding washed out shoulders and left dirt and debris on roads. Nehls says Highway 28 north of Theresa could be closed for a couple of days before the water recedes. Nehls says the Juneau Airport reported just over four inches of rain overnight, Tuesday into Wednesday with the majority falling in a short period of time. She says there have also been reports of water and sewer back ups in some homes. Fond du Lac County Emergency Management director Bobbie Hicken says all areas of the county had at least some roads impacted and as of Wednesday there were still some road closures because of high water.
