Get those snow shovels ready. Another major winter storm is in the forecast for the Badger state weekend. National Weather Service meteorologist Cameron Miller says we could see 3-5 inches of snow in our listening area including Fond du Lac and Dodge counties Sunday. “This snowstorm will mainly be confined to Sunday. We’re looking for snow to begin from 5am to 7am Sunday and continuing throughout the day,” Miller told WFDL news.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
