3-17-20 owner of fdl travel company issues statement

The co-owner of a Fond du Lac travel company that led a tour of  area residents on an Egyptian river cruise that resulted in a coronavirus outbreak has issued a statement.   Valerie Graczyk,  with Someday Travel, says she wants to thank people for reaching out,  their  kindness and concerns.   “We are blessed to live in a caring community.   Wishing you good health,”  Gracyk said.  Graczyk says as responsible business owners they were concerned prior to leaving for this tour that our travelers would not be in any harm and took  extensive measures to validate when they left there were no cases of the virus in Egypt.  She says they received confirmation there were none.   Graczyk said our Egypt travelers have been exposed to the coronavirus and they are working with the Fond du Lac Health Department.  She says all future tours have been cancelled for this year and next year.  Graczyk says she and her husband Wayne have led over 35 tours successfully over the past 15 years and are most grateful  to all their loyal travelers who have joined them on their world tours.
