The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer has issued an order placing further restrictions on Fond du Lac residents. Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says her order is meant to prevent the spread of  the coronavirus.   The order follows news of the first death in Fond du Lac of a man in his 50s.  Mueller confirmed the man was on an Egyptian cruise that spawned the outbreak in the city.    Mueller also said another person tested positive Thursday bringing the total number of covid-19 cases in Fond du Lac County to 15.   Mueller’s order closes all barber/barbering, cosmetology, nail salons, massage parlors and tattoo and body art studios in Fond du Lac effectdive 5pm Friday because patrons and employees will likely be within arm’s length for more than ten minutes.  Grocery stores and gas stations may remain open, but must close all seating and cease self-service operations such as coffee and beverage dispensers and salad bars, and prohibits customers from congregating in restaurants while waiting to pick up their take-out food.
