The American Lung Association’s 2020 State of the Air report found two Wisconsin cities made the report’s list of the top 25 most polluted cities for ozone. Milwaukee and Sheboygan ranked 24 and 22 respectively on the list. Fond du Lac received a C grade for ozone. American Lung Association in Wisconsin’s Dona Wininsky says now states are facing the challenge of climate change. The three year reporting period, between 2016-2018 were the hottest, third hottest and fourth hottest on record.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
