Fond du Lac police are investigating two deaths that occurred over the weekend. Shortly after 6:30am Saturday police were called to 261 North Seymour Street for a report of a body found in a backyard. Shortly before 10am Saturday police were called to a residence at 321 West Division Street after a resident came home and said he found his fiancée dead.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
