The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating two Huber inmate walkaways. Authorities say Kaden Solano removed his GPS monitoring bracelet and failed to return to the jail. The Fond du Lac man was serving a 360 day sentence for auto theft. Gabrielle Bruce failed to return after a doctor’s appointment. She was serving a sentence for disorderly conduct. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these individuals is asked to call the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
