A Fond du lac man convicted in connection with a shooting incident on Bank Street earlier this year is going to prison.. Fond du Lac judge Richard Nuss sentenced 28 year old Vincent Riddle to three years in prison and four years extended supervision. Riddle earlier pleaded no contest to first degree recklessly endangering safety, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and bail jumping. Four other counts were dismissed and read into the record. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says 21 year old Dammahum Gibson is accused of shooting at Riddle’s brother and Riddle fired multiple shots in return at Gibson. Klein says the shooting stemmed from an argument over some repairs that were supposed to be done to a vehicle. Klein says it’s very lucky that nobody was injured. He says some bullets struck a nearby house and the Labor Temple building on Bank Street.
