2-9-21 fdl city council candidate forum

Envision Greater Fond du Lac will host a City Council Candidate Forum on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the City/County Building in the City Council Chambers. The event will be moderated by retired Fond du Lac County Judge, Gary Sharpe.
Candidates will be in the City Council Chambers, socially-distanced, and asked a series of questions as they pertain to three topics currently impacting the City: Lakeside Park; budget, property taxes, and fees; and public safety. The gallery will be open to those who wish to attend in-person; however, this is limited to the first 40 people (attendees must wear a mask). The forum will also be simulcast on Government Channel 980.  The candidate forum is being held before the Primary Election on Tuesday, February 16 for the City of Fond du Lac residents.  For more information on voter registration and elections for the City of Fond du Lac, please visit fdl.wi.gov/administration/city-clerk/elections/.
After the Primary Election on Tuesday, February 16, the slate of City Council candidates will be narrowed down to six. Those six will then go on to the General Election on Tuesday, April 6.
