An Iron Ridge man was killed in a dump truck crash in Dodge County. The crash happened shortly after 2pm Tuesday when a dump truck failed to stop at a stop sign on Dodge County Highway S and Highway WS entered a driveway, crossed over railroad tracks, and overturned. The 67 year old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
