4-13-23 ripon police: death investigation continues

Ripon police are continuing their investigation of what they are calling a suspicious death.  But police are stopping short at this point of calling the death of an 18 year old Ripon man a homicide.   Ripon Police School Resource Officer Lindsey Michels says the body was found Friday morning on the sidewalk in the area of Scott and Stanton Streets.   Michels tells WFDL news investigators are calling the death an isolated incident and say the community is not in danger.  Michels says police are backtracking to try to determine where the individual was before his body was found.  Anyone with information is asked to call Ripon police.
