11-9-22 voters approve mptc building referendum

Voters have approved a $55 million Moraine Park Technical College building referendum.   The referendum includes four major projects including renovating the manufacturing and trade center and health services and nursing wing at the Fond du Lac campus, a remodeling project in West Bend and a regional fire training center.  “I am extremely excited not only for the college but for the learners, the students, the communities that we serve,” MPTC president Bonnie Baerwald told WFDL news.    The referendum passed by more than 17,000 votes.  Voters also approved an operations and building referendum in the North Fond du Lac School District, and operations referendums in  the Waupun and Ripon school districts.
