One person was killed and two people were critically injured in a shooting incident at a Fond du Lac apartment complex and police are looking for three suspects. Assistant police chief Jason Laridaen says shortly before 7pm Sunday police received multiple 911 calls of a shooting incident at the Maplewood Commons Apartment complex at Pioneer Road and Martin Avenue. Laridaen says a 20 year old woman was pronounced dead at St. Agnes Hospital. Two men, ages 18 and 49 were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds and are in critical condition. Laridaen says multiple agencies are assisting in the investigation. Laridaen says police searched the surrounding area but believe the shooter and possibly two other suspects have left the immediate area, and is asking anyone with information to contact police.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
