One person was seriously injured in an alcohol related rollover crash in Fond du Lac County. Shortly before 10 pm Tuesday the Dispatch Center received a 911 call of a vehicle on its side on the road at county Highways W and BB. A 39 year old Campbellsport woman was flown by helicopter to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee with serious injuries. A preliminary investigation showed the driver failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle entered a ditch, became airborne and rolled several times. The driver was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated first offense.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
