11-11-24 ribbon cutting celebrates fdl park improvements

Ribbon cutting ceremonies were held Friday afternoon for improvements  at two Fond du Lac city parks.  A ribbon cutting was held to celebrate  recent updates at McDermott and McKinley Parks.  Public Works director Paul DeVries says the McDermott Park project includes a pergola, convergence area, benches, landscaping beds, and native planting area.  DeVries says there’s also  a new synthetic ice rink that will be open to the public by the Thanksgiving holiday.  There’s a new playground at McKinley Park.
