An elderly woman was seriously injured in a one vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County. The crash happened at about 7:30pm Tuesday on Ridge Road at Lincoln Road. The vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and went into a ditch, striking an embankment. The driver, an 82 year old Eldorado woman, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say a bomb threat written in a bathroom at the Fond du Lac STEM Academy turned out to be unfounded. Early Monday afternoon police officers were called to the school on South Military Road after a student reported the threat to a school custodian.
