10-22-24 fdl street closure

A portion of Martin Avenue in Fond du Lac will be closed for a couple of days for utility work.  Starting Tuesday Martin Avenue between Sterling Drive and Pioneer Road will be closed until the end of the day Wednesday to allow  a utility contractor to install underground utilities in the 800 block of Martin Avenue.  Motorists will still be able to access Theisen Middle School from the north.

10-22-24 interstate 41 project in fdl county starts this week

A major reconstruction project on Interstate 41 in Fond du Lac and Winnebago counties is underway. 10-22-24 weak la nina winter predicted-what will that mean for wisconsin?

Fall is in full swing, but it's not too soon to look ahead to winter, especially one that could feel considerably different than last year's dominated by El Nino.   NOAA's Climate Prediction Center reports there is a 60 percent chance that a weak La Nina will develop this autumn and could last until March.  National Weather Service meteorologist Mark Gehring says he doesn't think that will have a major impact on Wisconsin's winter.  […]

10-21-24 fdl man injured in shooting incident

A Fond du Lac man was injured and a suspect  is in custody  following a weekend shooting incident. It happened shortly after 2:30 am Sunday in the parking lot behind Hopper’s Screen Printing and the Fast Taco restaurant on North Main Street. 10-21-24 fdl man convicted in drug overdose death

A Fond du Lac man has been convicted of  providing the drugs that led to the overdose death of a Fond  du Lac resident.   Forty six year old Joshua Weber has pleaded guilty to First Degree Reckless Homicide.  A sentencing hearing is scheduled for January 27th.  Investigators say Weber supplied the fentanyl that led to the death of a Fond du Lac man in December of 2020.
