10-11-24 wisconsin dpi releases state test scores

State test scores released by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction show almost half of students are testing at grade level in reading and math.   That’s a significant jump from last year, when less than 40 percent of students were considered proficient in those subjects.   But this year’s scores can’t be compared to previous years.  DPI has lowered the threshold for what is proficient and changed the terms to describe student success.  The results […]

10-10-24 wisconsin building commission approves 50 projects

The state Building Commission has approved 50 community projects across Wisconsin including a project in Fond du Lac County.  The Commission approved over $160 million worth of projects including a $550,000 project to assist in the construction of a new Tri-County Area Boys and Girls Club site in Ripon.
