10-7-24 fdl street closure

The Fond du lac Public Works Department would like to inform the motoring public of the seven day closure of South Park Avenue between 8th Street and 9th Street. The closure will begin 7:00 AM, Wednesday, October 9th and remain closed until the end of day October 16th. The closure will be in place to allow the water utility to replace and restore a water service on South Park Avenue.

10-7-24 high speed chase-fdl county

A Milwaukee man is in custody following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac County. The chase started shortly after 12:30am Friday on southbound Interstate 41 near Sales Road and ended shortly after the vehicle ran over stop sticks near Johnson Street in Fond du Lac. The vehicle eventually stopped after exiting at Military Road and the driver fled on foot. He was quickly apprehended.
