10-1-24 firefighters battle silo fire in fdl county

Fire damaged a silo and destroyed  the feed at a Fond du Lac County farm.  Shortly after 6:30am Monday firefighters from several departments were called to the scene on Lost Arrow Road to find smoke visible from the silo.  Approximately $20,000 worth of feed was destroyed.  Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the silo and prevent it from spreading to any nearby structures.  The fire is not considered suspicious.  Nine area fire departments helped […]
