9-6-24 boil water advisory lifted in st. cloud

A boil water advisory has been lifted in the village of St. Cloud.  The advisory was issued earlier this week after an equipment malfunction resulted in a loss of pressure in the water system.  Fond du Lac County Emergency Management director John Ross says the issue was corrected and there was  no known water contamination but the advisory was issued  as a precaution.

9-6-24 convicted child sex offender released from custody…living in brownsville

A convicted child sex offender is being released from custody and is residing in the Dodge County town of LeRoy.  Sheriff Dale Schmidt says Garon Leitzke is a Chapter 980 sex offender and is now living at a residence on state Highway 49 in Brownsville.  Schmidt says he objected to the location where Leitzke is being placed.  Schmidt says the Sheriff's Office will increase its presence in the area.  He adds […]

9-6-24 semi trailer fire

Nobody was injured in a semi fire in Fond du Lac. Shortly after 6pm Wednesday firefighters quickly extinguished the fire in a semi trailer hauling 42,000 pounds of pecans. Southbound Interstate 41 and Rolling Meadows Drive were shut down for a short period of time while crews extinguished the fire.

9-6-24 school bus vs motorcycle crash-dodge county

One person was seriously injured when a school bus collided with a motorcycle in Dodge County. The crash happened shortly after 3:30 pm Wednesday at the intersection of state Highway 33 and North Crystal Lake Road. The motorcycle operator, a 62 year old Beaver Dam man, was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. The school bus driver was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
