8-6-24 body of oshkosh man found in lake winnebago

The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the death of an Oshkosh man found in Lake Winnebago.  The body of 65 year old David Prieto was found Friday floating in the lake near the Fahrney Point Boat Ramp/Kalbus Country Harbor area in the town of Black Wolf.  First responders attempted life-saving measures, but Prieto was pronounced dead at the scene.   His boat was found in the area.  Autopsy results are pending.

8-6-24 inmate found dead at waupun prison
