Strong winds knocked down tree limbs throughout the Fond du Lac area Friday night, including this large tree branch that landed on a vehicle on 11th Street in the city of Fond du Lac.  Nobody was hurt.

3-15-25 Dodge County Board Supervisor False Claims

A Dodge County Board supervisor convicted of trespassing while carrying a firearm for carrying a gun into a Neosho elementary school is accused of making false allegations against the Dodge County sheriff in a video. The video alleged sheriff Dale Schmidt falsified a police report. The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office concluded in an independent investigation that the Dodge County Sheriff provided accurate information and did not provide any false information.

A gas leak forced the evacuation of several buildings in Waupun Friday night. Shortly after 9pm Friday firefighters responded to a report of a natural gas odor on East Main Street and discovered a gas line and meter had been sheared off.
