7-12-24 nurse bound over for trial in death of waupun prison inmate

A nurse has been bound over for trial in connection with the death of an inmate at the Waupun Correctional Institution.  Probable cause was found at a preliminary hearing Thursday for 50 year old Gwendolyn Peachy Vick on a charge of abuse of residents of a penal facility in the death of 24 year old Cameron Williams.  A Dodge County Sheriff's detective testified that Vick determined it was not medically necessary to enter Williams' cell after […]

7-12-24 fdl teenager charged in fatal shooting in oshkosh

Bail has been set at $1 million cash for a Fond du Lac teenager in the shooting death of a Michigan man in Oshkosh.  Eighteen year old Daniel Wilson is charged with first degree intentional homicide in the July 2nd shooting death of the 19 year old man on Wisconsin Street.   A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 15th.  Police say the victim had approached Wilson about buying drugs before he was shot five times.  Wilson […]
