A truck vs SUV collision in Fond du Lac has claimed the life of a Fond du Lac woman.  The crash happened Monday afternoon on Lakeshore Drive near Subway Road.  A preliminary investigation shows an SUV was northbound on Lakeshore Drive when it crossed the centerline striking a southbound box truck head on.  The driver of the SUV, a 61 year old Fond du Lac woman , was pronounced dead at the scene.  […]

Inflation in the United States is slowing again after higher readings earlier this year.  Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell says we are getting back on a disinflationary path,  but more such evidence would be needed before the Fed would cut interest rates.  Retired Ripon College economist Paul Schoofs says he's a little bit disappointed Powell is still saying he is continuing to watch for data.  "It looks to me that there's enough data […]
