The Ripon Noon Kiwanis is taking the community out to the ballgame this Fourth of July, with their first Community Softball game; Thursday, July 4th on the Diedrich Agency Field/Diamond 1 at Murray Park. 6-28-24 neosho man critically injured in motorcycle crash

A Neosho man received life-threatening injuries in an alcohol-related motorcycle crash in Dodge County.   The crash happened shortly after 5:30pm Thursday  on Grant Road west of County Road P in the township of Rubicon.  A preliminary investigation shows a motorcycle westbound on Grant Road when the operator lost control and the bike  overturned. The 27 year old operator  was ejected and flown by helicopter to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

6-28-24 dodge county sheriff’s office investigating traffic crash, death

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help after an elderly man was found dead following a traffic crash.   Shortly after 2pm Thursday, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a car in the ditch on US Highway 151, south of State Highway 49.  First responders found the driver, a 91 year old Waupun man dead in the car.  The crash and death remain under investigation.  Anyone who may […]

6-28-24 missing person-dodge county

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing person.  Sheriff Dale Schmidt says deputies are searching the Clyman area for 37 year old Crystal Rasch.  Schmidt says his office is not releasing details of this investigation and is not asking for volunteers to assist with the search, and is asking that people avoid the area.  Law enforcement presence will be increased in the Clyman area and potentially other areas of the county.   […]
